|Dear Parents and Carers,
When we celebrated World Book day not only did they do lots of great reading but we also raised money for St Helena Hospice. This week our children enjoyed Dandy Lion, St Helena Hospice’s mascot, coming to visit the school so the children could present him with a cheque for £230.
Basketball Tournament Report by Jess and Andrea
|“On Tuesday, 14th March, the basketball team went to a KS 2 Basketball Tournament. We came 1st overall and got 57 team league points! The team who came second got 24 points. We scored over double the second team’s point score. We were against Alton Park, Two Village, Cann Hall and Holland Haven. Our new player, Goncalo, scored a basket. These are the people we should thank for our victory:
Jenson, Marnie, Toby, Bobbie, Goncalo, Jess, Sophie and Andrea.
We, once again, received the Cannon’s Trophy. This can be seen in the school office. Next month there shall be another tournament; we shall see who wins that……”
