Remembrance Service, School Trip, PTA Disco & Becoming a School Governor

Dear Parents and Carers,
Do you want to help make decisions about your school for your children? Do you want to find out more about all the things the school does for your child? If so then you should consider being one of our governors. Our governors play a key role in making decisions, supporting the school and holding the school to account. The commitment to be a governor involves attending a meeting each half term and undertaking visits to the school, up to one a term. If you are interested in supporting your school in this way, please speak to myself or Miss Fairbairn.
Our PTA Disco was a great success and we’d like to thank our PTA that worked so hard to make is such a success and the teachers and parents for supporting us in this event! Together we managed to raise £526.88 for our school!! How incredible!! Well done everyone! Reminder – Clothing bags to be bought into school on Monday morning before 0900 hrs and left at the dedicated drop off point (near the entrance to school). Your support, as always, is greatly appreciated.

All our children in years 3 and 4 that went on the trip to The British Museum had a great time.
They learnt lots and had a very enjoyable day.

This morning we led the Remembrance Service at our village war memorial.

Please keep our children safe and be considerate to our neighbours. Over the last two weeks some vehicles used for bringing children to school have been parking on the grass verge directly opposite our main entrance and on the yellow lines outside our school. If you do need to drive children to school please ensure that you park in a safe and considerate way.

Yours faithfully,
Mr M Carter-Tufnell
