Our Kitchen

Our school kitchen has been awarded the top rating of 5 stars in two consecutive inspections. Our cook and her team are well known among the children and staff for producing delicious, tasty and wholesome meals every day. All meals are prepared in our modern school kitchen using fresh produce and local suppliers for our fresh meat, fruit and vegetables. Where possible quality branded products are used, for example, Harry Ramsdens Fish Fillets and Muller Corner Yoghurts.

Everyday there are three options to choose from, these include a meat option, a vegetarian option and a jacket potato option with a variety of yummy toppings. In addition to the lunches, there is a daily salad bar of at least eight options, which children are encouraged to add to their lunch. Fresh bread is also provided, all baked by our catering team. The kitchen offers a three week rotating menu, that is, the menu changes weekly and repeats every three weeks. There are occasionally theme day menus, supporting relevant education within the school or to offer the children new and exciting dining experiences. Currently the catering team provide gluten free meals for a variety of children, if your child has a specific dietary need, please contact the school to discuss them as in most cases these can be catered for.
